Welcome to NYTA

Happy Friday!

Have you noticed how fast time seems to be flying by lately? The days seem to be in a rush; months feel shorter and the year is quickly hurrying by. It’s hard to believe that we’re nearing the end of the first quarter of 2026.

With time moving so quickly, we can’t afford to live our lives accidentally, leaving it to mere chance or coincidence. Now more than ever, we are called to live meaningful and purposeful lives. It’s time to step out of the ordinary life we’ve grown used to and step into the extraordinary life God, our creator, has designed for us.

  • Are you tired of living within the limits of what seems to be the “normal” or “typical” way of being, as defined by your environment, society, social media feed, or other people’s expectations?
  • Do you feel stuck between who you are today and who you know you can be?
  • Have you achieved so much on paper, yet still feel an emptiness deep inside yourself?
  • Or are you simply searching for clarity, identity, and purpose?

If any of this resonates, welcome to NYTA.

NYTA, which stands for Not Your Typical Anything, is a faith-driven movement committed to helping people overcome identity confusion and step into the extraordinary life they were created to live in Jesus Christ. We believe that when we truly know who we are, through God’s lens, we can fully step into the life we were uniquely created to live, rather than trying to live a life that others have tried to fit us into.

NYTA exists to offer a different path rooted in truth, identity, and transformation. NYTA is a life of knowing, love, surrender, creativity, and constant evolution.

To support you on this journey, I’ve created a collection of tools and resources designed to help you live out your purpose with clarity and confidence. These include my book, NYTA: Not Your Typical Anything, music, and purpose-driven fashion–each designed to guide you into living the NYTA life from the inside out.

Join the movement.

Journey along with us, and invite others in your network who need the message of NYTA to join the movement by signing up at adebolaadeleye.com.

I’m so glad you’re here! And I look forward to walking this journey with you, and seeing you step fully into your NYTA life in Christ.

With love and gratitude,

Adebola Adeleye

The thin line... I have shared many beautiful realities of the NYTA life—the atypical, extraordinary, purpose-filled life that is our rightful state. This life flows from knowing who we are and whose we are. Knowing is a beautiful place to live, and knowledge is powerful. Knowing God—and knowing who we are in and through Him—produces boldness and confidence. But NYTA confidence has nothing to do with our own ability; it is rooted entirely in His ability. The danger of knowledge, however, is...

Two weeks ago, I introduced you to "I am..." and last week, I shared "He is...". Our “I am…” is based on “He is…” It is dependent on it. This is because our identity is found in Him. If "I am" is dependent on "He is," then it is critical to know that He is, and to know who He is, because it's in knowing Him that you come to know your "I am," and to become the "I am" God created you to be. Knowing is key. You cannot be who you don't know you are. And you cannot know who you are if you don't...

Have you ever wondered how everything that exists came into being? Have you paused to look at creation? Take a moment to look at the everyday beauty around you…the trees, the flowers, sunlight. Picture the beauty of sunrise and the breathtaking sunset that gently creeps up in the later part of the day. One of the things in creation that baffles me is the cloud. I sometimes stare outside my window and just gaze into the sky, watching the clouds form. I can’t help but admire the various shapes...
