Living From, Not For, Approval

Hello Friend! Already loved, already accepted and perfectly made - this is the reality of a NYTA. A NYTA is someone who lives a surrendered life to Christ and is not waiting for the accolades and approval of people to feel good about themselves. Instead, the NYTA identity is all about living from the reality of being rooted and grounded in a love that cannot be shaken. When we live life from God’s secure love, the accolades of people are just bonus on top of what is already a fact, known, and established. This reality is not based on your abilities or capacities. It is founded upon the knowledge of who you are in and through Christ. It flows from a love relationship between you and your creator, who is also your father and a friend like no other. This reality is shaped by how God sees you and what He says about you. He says… you are loved you are His chosen generation you have been beautifully and wonderfully made you are His special person you are royalty He has created you to rule and reign. And this is only a glimpse of what He says about you and me. Did you know about this reality that you were created to live? Are you living out this reality yet? If not, consider this an invitation to dive into the NYTA life. And if you have already begun living out this reality, there’s more, dive in deeper. There is nothing you can do that will make you more loved or accepted by God than you already are. God’s love is not performance-based. It is free, not earned. And He has lavished this love on us. The beauty of this love reality is that the invitation is open to anyone who would come. When you say yes to Jesus and choose to give Him your all and do life with Him, you begin your journey into NYTA living. And as you grow in intimacy with Him, through His word and through time with Him, your NYTA life becomes inevitable. The result is that you stop living for approval and begin living FROM approval. Reflect on one thing God says about who you are today and begin to see yourself in that light. P.S. I send out this newsletter weekly to help you step into the extraordinary life in Christ.
