I am… He is… I know

Two weeks ago, I introduced you to "I am..." and last week, I shared "He is...". Our “I am…” is based on “He is…” It is dependent on it. This is because our identity is found in Him. If "I am" is dependent on "He is," then it is critical to know that He is, and to know who He is, because it's in knowing Him that you come to know your "I am," and to become the "I am" God created you to be. Knowing is key. You cannot be who you don't know you are. And you cannot know who you are if you don't know who made you, or why He made you to be who you are. Not knowing is one of the major factors that prevents us from living out the extraordinary purpose filled life of NYTA. The word of God says “My people are being destroyed because they do not know Me” (Hosea 4:6). When we don’t know, we give other people the liberty to define us and give us our “I am” statements based on their own limited understanding. Their intentions may be right, but their limitations can give us definitions that are way below the capacity that God has built in us to live out. Press for knowledge today. Get to know your “I am” reality through who “He is.” God is the only one who can give us our true definition because He is the author, the manufacturer and the creator of who we are through Jesus Christ.
