Invisible Yet Known

Though the World Fails to See…I Am Known.

We all want to be seen. We want to be noticed, heard, appreciated, and affirmed. There is something about being acknowledged for a job well done that brightens our day. We welcome it because it makes us feel valued.

But what happens when reality does not align with that desire? What happens when you find yourself feeling unseen, unnoticed, disregarded, or insignificant? When others make you feel like you are less than or not enough, it can be easy to believe that narrative.

But I’ve got news for you: regardless of what anyone says—or doesn’t say—about you, you are known, valued, and loved by God.

One of my favorite scriptures that puts this into perspective is Jeremiah 1:5:

“Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew you intimately. I had divine plans for you before I gave you life, and I set you apart and chose you to be mine. You are my prophetic gift to the nations.” — TPT

Think about that. Before you were seen by people, you were known by God.

Before you accomplished anything, received anyone’s approval, or had anyone recognize your worth, God already knew you. He already had great plans for you.

So, if you ever feel like you are not enough, remember: your worth is not determined by who sees you. God sees you.

The next time you look in the mirror, remind yourself:

I am known.
I am chosen.
I am a gift to the nations.

Have you ever stopped to thank God for the heart that keeps you alive? Every time you wake up, your heart is beating. What a gift! But beyond the physical heart is another heart we need—a heart that knows God, seeks Him, and desires an authentic relationship with Him. Recently, while studying Scripture, I found something fascinating: the heart we need to know God is a gift He is willing to give us. We don't have to figure it all out on our own. Think about these two Scriptures: “I will give...

The NYTA life is not just about knowledge or action; it is also about relationship. Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, with the promise that all these things shall be added unto us. These things include food, clothing and the everyday needs of life. It is a call to prioritize God and trust Him with the rest. But what does it mean to seek Him? Jeremiah 29:13 says, “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” NYTA...

Like a precious stone whose worth cannot be measured, Knowledge is a hidden gem we too often overlook. I never realized the depth and value of knowledge until I began to study God’s word: the Bible, which is a treasure. It is remarkable how many blessings are tied to knowledge, according to the Scriptures. All things that pertain to life and godliness are found through knowledge (2 Pet 1:3). Strength and exploits are found in knowledge (Dan. 11:32). Increased strength is found in knowledge...
