Is it true that what you don’t know cannot hurt you? Do you know you are Royal? Yes, you! Do you know you are Chosen? Do you know you are Not here by accident? Do you know you are Wanted, Needed, Highly Desired, Delighted in and Loved? Maybe you need a reminder today...Well, here it is! Your world may have tried to sell you a different story and told you otherwise. Your family, friends, or foes or society may have tried to make you feel less than the masterpiece and the amazing work of art that God has made you to be. You may even have believed them and started identifying yourself as the names and titles they have called you. Or it could even be that you are the one calling yourself by names and titles that are substandard to what God calls you. There is a rightful state we have been wired to live. That rightful state is nothing short of a uniquely crafted extraordinary life of purpose, a life of full capacity and endless possibilities which is only possible in God through Jesus Christ. This is what we call the NYTA, Not Your Typical Anything Life. Not knowing who you are and your rightful state can in fact hurt you. It can trap you in living below your full capacity, and that is deeply hurtful. Imagine a royal heir living like a slave because he has no idea that he is a child of a king. This is what happens when you don’t know your identity. Knowledge is critical. Knowledge is key. Knowledge is power. Know yourself. You are the child of the King! There is light in knowledge. In knowledge is strength and precious treasures. P.S. I send out this newsletter once weekly to help you step into the extraordinary life in Christ. I invite you to share this Newsletter with the people you know who may be encouraged by NYTA’s message. For those ready to step deeper into trust, surrender, and dependence on God... With love and gratitude, |
You were not created to be ordinary. Step into your extraordinary life with my weekly NYTA Newsletter.
The thin line... I have shared many beautiful realities of the NYTA life—the atypical, extraordinary, purpose-filled life that is our rightful state. This life flows from knowing who we are and whose we are. Knowing is a beautiful place to live, and knowledge is powerful. Knowing God—and knowing who we are in and through Him—produces boldness and confidence. But NYTA confidence has nothing to do with our own ability; it is rooted entirely in His ability. The danger of knowledge, however, is...
Two weeks ago, I introduced you to "I am..." and last week, I shared "He is...". Our “I am…” is based on “He is…” It is dependent on it. This is because our identity is found in Him. If "I am" is dependent on "He is," then it is critical to know that He is, and to know who He is, because it's in knowing Him that you come to know your "I am," and to become the "I am" God created you to be. Knowing is key. You cannot be who you don't know you are. And you cannot know who you are if you don't...
Have you ever wondered how everything that exists came into being? Have you paused to look at creation? Take a moment to look at the everyday beauty around you…the trees, the flowers, sunlight. Picture the beauty of sunrise and the breathtaking sunset that gently creeps up in the later part of the day. One of the things in creation that baffles me is the cloud. I sometimes stare outside my window and just gaze into the sky, watching the clouds form. I can’t help but admire the various shapes...
